Terms & Conditions

1. Admission and Eligibility

  • Admission is subject to availability of seats and at the sole discretion of the management
  • Residents must provide valid identification, address proof, and necessary academic/employment documentation
  • False information provided during admission may result in immediate termination of residency
  • A valid local guardian’s details must be provided for students under 18 years

2. Security Deposit and Payments

  • A refundable security deposit equivalent to one month’s rent is mandatory
  • Monthly fees must be paid by the 5th of each month
  • Late payments will incur a penalty of ₹100 per day
  • Security deposit will be refunded after adjusting dues and damages, if any
  • One month’s notice is required before vacating the hostel
  • Short-stay bookings require 100% advance payment

3. Room Allocation and Facilities

  • Room allocation is at management’s discretion and subject to availability
  • Room transfers are only permitted with prior management approval
  • Residents are responsible for maintaining their allocated room and furniture
  • Any damage to hostel property will be charged to the resident
  • AC usage charges are separate from room rent

4. Code of Conduct

  • Residents must maintain decorum and respect fellow residents
  • Quiet hours must be observed between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM
  • Smoking, alcohol, and illegal substances are strictly prohibited
  • Visitors are only allowed in designated areas during visiting hours
  • Male visitors are not permitted beyond the reception area
  • Residents must follow the prescribed dress code in common areas

5. Safety and Security

  • Entry/exit timings must be strictly followed
  • All visitors must register at the reception
  • Residents must carry their ID cards at all times
  • CCTV surveillance footage may be reviewed for security purposes
  • Management reserves the right to inspect rooms if required

6. Dining Services

  • Meal timings must be strictly followed
  • Special dietary requirements must be communicated in advance
  • Food delivery services are allowed only until 9:00 PM
  • Outside food storage in rooms is discouraged
  • Cooking in rooms is strictly prohibited

7. Internet Usage

  • Free Wi-Fi is provided for academic and professional use only
  • Downloading illegal content is strictly prohibited
  • Management reserves the right to monitor internet usage
  • Wi-Fi access may be restricted during study hours

8. Leave and Attendance

  • Overnight leave requires prior written permission
  • Parents/guardians will be notified of leave requests
  • Regular attendance records will be maintained
  • Extended absence without notice may result in termination of residency

9. Termination of Services

Management reserves the right to terminate residency in case of:

  • Violation of hostel rules
  • Non-payment of dues
  • Behavioral misconduct
  • False information in application
  • Extended absence without notice

10. Additional Services

  • Laundry services are available at additional cost
  • Additional amenities may be charged separately
  • Service charges are subject to change with notice

11. Liability

  • The hostel is not responsible for loss or damage of personal belongings
  • Residents are advised to maintain personal insurance
  • Management is not liable for any accidents or injuries on premises
  • Residents are responsible for their own medical expenses

12. Amendments

  • Management reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions
  • Changes will be communicated through notice board/email
  • Continued stay after notification implies acceptance of changes

Declaration

By accepting accommodation at Mudita Girls Hostel, residents acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
